Out on the Town
When I first started this blog I was pretty determined not to show you any repeats. I wanted to challenge myself by trying to wear everything in my closet. But the more blogs I read, the more I realize that "remixing" the same outfit in different ways is both more challenging and useful. This dress was first worn on my blog here, and now I'm going to show you more of a dressed down look.

Dress- Zara (remixed)
Tights- Forever 21
Cardigan- Target
Shoes- Forever 21
These are my new favorite flats. They were the only pair like this in Forever 21 and they just happened to fit. It was destiny! I love the bows and the sparkles and they're great for the days that I don't feel like wearing heels. I'm actually on the hunt for a cute pair of booties. Do you have any suggestions? Let me know!
xoxo

I am a total advocate for remixing. Why shop stores when you can shop your closet! Love this look, those tights are adorable.

This dress is stunning! On you, Elana and myself! haha, it's a dream. And I love both your fancy and dressed down because even a little dressed down is still very classy. Your Forever 21 must be a gold mine because mine never have anything cute.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I love the tights. Sexy but with a touch of cheek to them.
ReplyDeletehaha those shoes were totally destiny! bows and sparkles sound line a dream, i wish i could snag a pair like that. And it's so nuts to see you with brown ombre hair now! i like how you styled the dress both ways- but this one does look cozier. i actually like remix posts because it's fun to see what the blogger came up with for the same piece. lovely as always!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous outift, loving the navy blue with your hair colour - looks really lovely, a neat contrast <3

I literally just published the first post on my blog, and at this point I'm still hoping it'll give me a reason to wear everything in my closet... but I usually get so obsessed with one thing that I wear it daily, so that probably won't happen. ;) I'm impressed that you made it this far without repeating, though, and that dress looks so pretty both ways! Definitely versatile. :)
ReplyDeletelove this look...the flats are adorable!

Blogging and learning to remix has seriously been one of the best ways to not spend oodles and oodles on clothing. I love both ways you've styled this gorgeous little dress - but I am especially swooning over those flats! I never really think to wear metallic shoes with darker colors but it is such a pretty combination :)
