Cambri Lee

Miss Candyfloss Cambri Lee Dress

Spring is off to quite a weird start, right?  While I've been living most of my quarantine life in comfy (but stylish) clothes, I look forward to the days when I get dressed up and enjoy being out in the world for some brief moments.  Thankfully, I live in an area where I can enjoy nature without other people around me so I broke out my new dress from Miss Candyfloss for a mini adventure.  A wonderful small business run by two sisters, Miss Candyfloss offers whimsical and well-made pieces made in Transylvania.  You can read more about this amazing company and this brand new Cambri-Lee dress below!

The Cambri-Lee is a 100% cotton dress that features a flattering gathered bustline, fitted bodice, full swing skirt with hidden pockets, and a full back zippered closure.  My usual Miss Candyfloss size is XS, but I'm a pretty solid S in most other brands.  I'm wearing a size XS here but because this dress is cotton, it's more fitted than my Miss Candyfloss dresses made with stretch fabric.  It's a great fit for me so I'd recommend you take your normal size or size up if you're between sizes.

I decided to pair this gorgeous dress with my favorite Charlie Stone flats and a classic straw hat for that perfect pinup springy look!  Like all of Miss Candyfloss pieces, this dress is offered in sizes XS-5X.  If you're not familiar with the brand yet, their new releases tend to sell out quickly so if you love something jump on it ASAP!

Small Business Style: Kitchy Witch Designs

Life has been crazy lately (as I'm sure you understand) so my blogging has been a little slower than normal.  After six weeks in quarentine, I'm finally starting to feel like myself again!  I decided to reboot my small business style series with one of my favorites: Kitschy Witch Designs.  Stephanie Buscema is the brains and the artist behind the business and she is literally one of the most talented people I know.  Her spooky cute style speaks to my soul and you may have even seen her work in comic books or on clothing at all the Disney parks.

Stephanie decided to start her own little business and you can find her work on clothing, jewelry, and home decor.  Everything she sells is ethically made here in the USA and is made in smaller batches.  I feel like everything I own is a wearable piece of rare art!  I've highlighted some of my favorite pieces from her line, which you can see below.  I couldn't feature them all, but you can always check my archives under the Kitschy Witch Designs tag at the bottom of this post.

I wear somewhere between an XS and S in Kitschy Witch.  Definitely an XS in the skirts and depending on the dress, I'll size up to a S for bust room.  Kitschy Witch Designs offers sizes XS-3X and you can expect a lot of great new goodies coming later this year!

I've also composed a fun style video for these outfits, which you can check out below!

Fan Faves

I love it when Erstwilder releases new colors of old favorites.  Their newest Fan Favorites collection, which just released right now, is full of so many great pieces!  This range has seven brooches, two necklaces, and three pairs of earrings.  They've also included five scarves so there are lots of mix and match options.  Check out what I picked from their newest range below!

Dress- Target
Hat- vintage

Heartfelt Hydrangea is one of my all-time favorite Erstwilder designs and this time around they've included a necklace and added a new brooch color: purple!  Purple is my favorite color so you can imagine my surprise when I saw this beautiful piece.  I love that they took all three colors of this brooch and turned it into a necklace.  That way you can mix and match with the previous colors too!  Heartfelt Hydrangea also comes in matching earrings if you want to complete the set!

Top- Old Navy
Skirt- Made 590
Hat- c/o Collectif

I never had the chance to own the original Woven Wattle brooch and I'm so happy they decided to bring it back!  If you follow me on Instagram, I recently posted a wattle skirt from Made 590.  Wattle doesn't exist here in the USA and those trees are just *so* gorgeous.  I'm glad I can now wear this brooch with my skirt and show my love from afar!

This brooch makes me feel like the mermaid that I truly am on the inside!  With it's pink pearly resin (and a pearl right in the center), this design is just everything I could ever want in a brooch.  It's a smaller size so it feels light and dainty when worn.  It looks great with a pink outfit like I've styled it, but adds a pop of color when you wear it with a basic top.

You can shop these pieces and the rest of the Fan Faves collection on the Erstwilder site right now!  Which designs are your favorite?  Let me know in the comments below!
