It's been a minute since I've featured a style video here on the blog and I'm so excited to bring you this orange and black series! As you may know, I have lots of Halloween things to wear so there is an abundance of black and orange in my closet. I've put together just a few of my favorites, make sure to check out the video below to see them all!
I wish I could have added a few more outfits but it was quite a mess getting all these on for the video. Which outfit is your favorite? Are you wearing your Halloween inspired outfits yet? Let me know in the comments below!
Have you started hunting for all your Halloween goodies this year? If you're like me, you've probably noticed that lots of retailers are bringing out their spooky collections early. I'm considering it one of the few things that has brought me joy this year! ModCloth, one of my favorite online shops, has an amazing Halloween collection this season and I've been lucky enough to showcase some of their ghoulish offerings! Whether you're into a spooky casual ensemble or going for that glam goth look, ModCloth has everything you need for Halloween.

August is here which means I'm officially getting ready for Halloween! While I might have to coax my husband to bring in the decorations, my outfits are here and ready to go. As always, my outfits have a vintage twist and this first installment of Halloween 2020 style showcases some of my favorite vintage inspired brands. You can find links to all each of pieces below and if you love all things Halloween from me, make sure to follow the #scbheartshalloween hashtag on Instagram!
Life has been crazy lately (as I'm sure you understand) so my blogging has been a little slower than normal. After six weeks in quarentine, I'm finally starting to feel like myself again! I decided to reboot my small business style series with one of my favorites: Kitschy Witch Designs. Stephanie Buscema is the brains and the artist behind the business and she is literally one of the most talented people I know. Her spooky cute style speaks to my soul and you may have even seen her work in comic books or on clothing at all the Disney parks.
Stephanie decided to start her own little business and you can find her work on clothing, jewelry, and home decor. Everything she sells is ethically made here in the USA and is made in smaller batches. I feel like everything I own is a wearable piece of rare art! I've highlighted some of my favorite pieces from her line, which you can see below. I couldn't feature them all, but you can always check my archives under the Kitschy Witch Designs tag at the bottom of this post.
I wear somewhere between an XS and S in Kitschy Witch. Definitely an XS in the skirts and depending on the dress, I'll size up to a S for bust room. Kitschy Witch Designs offers sizes XS-3X and you can expect a lot of great new goodies coming later this year!
I've also composed a fun style video for these outfits, which you can check out below!
Which outfit is your favorite? Do you own any Kitschy Witch Designs? Let me know in the comments below!
I've been adding more content to my YouTube channel and I've decided to start something that's close to my heart: a small business style series! As you may know, I love supporting small, woman-owned, and POC-owned businesses. Since I don't blog as much as I used to, some of those amazing businesses never get any love here. I wanted to start this series with one of my favorites, Nooworks. Nooworks is a woman-owned business that not only produces their ethical clothing here in the USA, they also hire woman to design the textiles too! You can read more about Nooworks and check out my style video below!
Nooworks is a small team of women who strive to make fun, funky clothing. They produce all their garments right here in California and offer everyone who works with them a living wage. They've also extended their sizing! You can find most of their garments in sizes XXS-3X. They release a few prints each season, usually featuring an artist or two. They offer those prints in a variety of styles and fabrics. I usually stick with their stretch poplin (which is everything I'm wearing here) but I also love their rayons and stretch jersey. I only featured four styles in this video but I have so much more than that! My current favorite styles are the Eliza dress and the overalls.
Nooworks is very popular with their fan base, which means that things can sell out pretty quickly! They're very active on Instagram and always give you a heads up what and when they release items (usually on Wednesdays). I've learned the hard way, so if I end up loving something I always order it ASAP!
I wear a size small comfortably in pretty much everything. I could size down to an XS in some items (especially if they're in the jersey fabric), but I tend to take the larger of my two sizes. Their sizing is usually spot-on with their size charts and I've never had a fit issue.
Check out my style video below!
You can shop their styles online or check out their stores in Los Angeles and San Fransisco! Have you ordered from Nooworks before? What's your favorite style? Let me know in the comments!
If you're new here then you'll find out very quickly: I am obsessed with Star Wars. Maybe it's weird but Star Wars, in some small way at least, is definitely a part of my everyday life. Which means it effects my fashion too! Whether I'm Disneybounding at Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland or just going to work, I have several fun outfits for every possible occasion. I've highlighted a few of my favorites and believe me, it was so difficult to narrow it down to just four!
If you don't already know, I've been doing a Valentine's Day series here and on my Instagram for the past few weeks. I started with my first style video (you can watch that HERE) but I just had to do some more! Pink has a very prominent place in my wardrobe so I've dedicated today's style series to some of my favorite pink looks. Check them out below!
Today I'm talking about Valentine's Day! While it's not my favorite holiday, I do love dressing the part! I'm going to have an extensive series on my Valentine's Day style and you can follow along until February 14th on my Instagram using the hashtag #scbheartsvday. I'll also be posting here (although not all outfits will make it) in case you don't have/use Instagram. I'm kicking off this series with four of my favorite outfits. Check them out here and you can find direct links to almost everything below!
