Today is the last day of November and I'm pretty much ready for December. I'm ready to stay away from the mall craziness. I'm ready for ugly Christmas sweater and work holiday parties. I'm ready for another birthday (almost). Oh, and I'm ready to overdose on peppermint lattes, although I seriously don't think I can get enough. They're delicious!
Can you tell that I love to twirl in this dress? I actually wore it earlier this year (you can see it here) and this is how I styled it for winter. Well, California winter. Out here you can still wear open toed platforms in the dead of winter and be okay. Not only are these heels my favorite, but they're the only shoes that make me taller than my fiance. I have no idea why I like being taller than him, but I'm guessing it's because I've always wanted to be a giant (I only sprouted to 5'7'). I guess this is the closest I'll ever get!
I absolutely adore this look, so gorgeous!! That dress is so light and has such great movement to it. And those bright shoes are ammmazing, I wish I could rock those in our winters. I am addicted to gingerbread lattes so I understand where you're coming from with the peppermint ones xJennaD
I like how you styled this one more for winter- the summer look was to airy and pretty! I love the billowing sleeves. And ditto on the peppermint mochas- there's nothing like them to get you all jolly first thing in the morning :)
this is SUCH a cute dress on you. and indeed, i'll be avoiding malls until january too. not that they are really any near by to go to. and i can never ever find shoes that make me taller than Jason - i'm like 9 inches shorter than him!
Oh my god I LOVE this outfit so much! Gorgeous dress and love the purple shoes - totally gorgeous! <3 I was wondering if you'd wanna follow one another? I adore your blog, I think your style is absolutely fabulous and would love to be bloggie friends! =) Now following you! xoxo Bree The Urban Umbrella http://www.theurbanumbrella.com

ReplyDeleteAsh, the soft flowy dress gets a nice winter contrast with the fishernets tights and the leather jacket. Love it :-) Have a great weekend girl!
