Sing It Again

Jenny skirt in Mary Blair Lavender Lips and Roses

I feel like there are certain inanimate objects that embody you as a person.  If you haven't noticed it from my closet, this Mary Blair lips and roses print happens to be one of those things.  I own it in both colors in the skirt, swing, and wiggle dress versions.  I love girly prints with pretty colors and wearing this collection makes me feel like a princess.  Like many other ladies, the Mary Blair collection is my favorite.  I almost wish there were more prints to collect!

Petticoat- Unique Vintage

I was talking with some of my friends about starting some kind of exercise plan.  Before I had Bianca I was very much into yoga.  I remember the times when I could turn down the lights, surround the room in candles, and practice in peace.  These days are much different and I have no real "zen" in my home.  While I know I could join a yoga studio, it just doesn't feel right spending my shopping money on something I know I could do at home for free.  What do you do to keep fit?  I'm always open to new things, but I'd like to have the option of doing it at home.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

  1. Not even kidding - I go to Jazzercise classes. It's about $50 a month near me, which is cheaper than I paid for yoga when I did that, and it's seriously fun! It's not as intense as Zumba but I am definitely tired and sweaty after the hour is up. I'm not coordinated enough to be a real dancer but there, I can pretend I am AND get a work out! ;)

  2. I love your outfit! I like to do yoga and stuff like that at home, and I also like running/walking. I have a jogging stroller I push my munchkin around in and it is fun for both of us :)

  3. The print on the skirt is great. I do dance classes and I have a $10 gym membership for when the classes can't fit into my schedule.

  5. I adore this outfit! And your hair and lipstick fit perfectly with it. For exercise I personally LOVE Cassey Ho from Blogilates. Her workouts are super fun (mostly pilates) and she makes a new workout program every new month. And best of all, you can get it all for free and do it at home!

  6. I am going to try swimming at the local pool- might be something you can do with Bianca too....

Ah! I seriously fall in love with this print (especially the purple) more each time I see it!

  8. Whoa girl! You look amazing! I can't believe how long your hair is!!! It's gorgous! I alternate jogging and workout videos every other day. I run about 2.5 miles and then the next day do Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. I swear by it. That's pretty much how I lost all that weight over the last year. I don't think you need to loose weight at all but if you want to tone up and keep in shape and mentally fit it's super cheap and you could even bring Bianca on your joggs if you invested in one of those special strollers. I'm not a yoga type gal so maybe this isn't even up your alley. Ha!
