You know that feeling when a collection of coveted things is complete? That's how I felt when I received this skirt. The last to be released in the Mary Blair collection, this umbrella print is easily one of my favorites. This skirt was absolutely worth the wait! I love the hints of blue and red, which is why I paired it with a red peasant top. As much as I love the pink, I wanted the small details to shine.

I'm gearing up for a weekend mostly at work. On Saturdays Kevin and I try to get a little date night dinner in, but most times I get home too late. I'm hoping we can make more date nights soon though, I have a lot of cute "sexy" dresses from the Yard Sale that I would like to wear sometime! As much as I love wiggle dresses, I just can't work them into everyday casual wear. If you have any styling tips for me, let me know!

Oh I really want this whole outfit - how can I live in the UK without owning this skirt?! There is no point in my life where there is not an umbrella on my person - I only buy handbags that will fit one in! You look so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI think wiggles are great for everyday; pair them with flats, cardis, wear your hair in a ponytail as that always looks more dressed down... it's all about the extra touches :) x
You would look so cute in this skirt!
DeleteThank you for the tips! I really need to give it a try because I have many pencil skirts that literally collect dust in my closet.
So gorgeous! You have the wardrobe of my dreams! haha
ReplyDeleteI wish you lived closer. we could play dress up! Hahaha!

I love the choice to pair it with red. It really does bring out the print on the skirt.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt looks awesome on you! I've been eying of this print now for a while, I hope I can order that skirt through my local pinup/rockabilly clothing store! :)
