Sparkling Seas

I'm a sucker for nautical prints and the moment I saw this Joni dress I knew it would be mine.  I've been a fan of Voodoo Vixen for quite some time.  I love their fun prints and the fact that most of their dresses come in a swing and wiggle version (seen here).  Their price point is great too, in case you're on a budget.  This particular dress has the cutest cap sleeves and everyone's favorite: pockets!  I plan on wearing this one through these hot summer months, which are already in effect.  Anyone else wish for summer weather and then immediately long for those cooler days?

You wouldn't know it from these pictures, but I'm actually in a "parking lot" of a pizza place!  This restaurant happens to be off a one lane highway in the middle of nowhere and I've always wondered how they stay in business.  It's seriously been there since I was a kid.  Unfortunately, it was around breakfast time when I took these pictures so I wasn't in the mood for pizza.  I'm planning on taking Kevin and Bianca there sometime in the future though!

Father's Day is this weekend and I'm so happy to spend it with my little family.  Every year I give Kevin the option of doing whatever he wants.  He's more of a homebody so the thought of having his day planned isn't fun for him.  It's been quite some time since we've had a lazy day at home together and I seriously can't wait!
