It's only been a few days but it feels like I haven't taken outfit photos in forever! I'm really good with scheduling posts (I've actually booked the next couple months) but I struggle getting out there to photograph them. It might just be a phase but I'll drag my feet until the day before a scheduled post. Of course, then comes the anxiety of having such little time and the worry that I won't get the shots I need. I really don't know why I torture myself in this way, but I think the best way to put it is that I do really well under pressure. At least that's what I tell myself!

I don't think I can ever get enough kitty prints in my closet. This Mary Blair cats skirt is no exception! I originally wanted to pair it with a royal blue peasant top, but I figured I'd try something different. I've been living in PUG Jenny skirts with peasant tops lately and I needed to challenge myself and dig through my older goodies. This top has been in my closet for at least 6-7 years and I don't think I could ever get rid of it. It's one of those rare Forever 21 finds that has stood the test of time.

You must have so many dresses in your closet... I swear. Ha ha! You look amazing as always. I love the skirt but especially that sweet little black frilly top and brooch! Your hair looks amazing too. You've got it down to a science!

Haha you're right! I actually use a closet in one of our spare rooms as a dress closet. Thanks so much Taylor!
DeleteA lot of people feel they do best under pressure :)
ReplyDeleteLike Taylor said, you hair looks amazing. I've been enjoying seeing all your Mary Blair things, especially since many are skirts and it is fun to see how you pair them with things.
Thanks Kristian! I've been having a wonderful time styling the separates in my closet. It's definitely new to me and I'm glad someone else appreciates that too :)
DeleteThat kitty print is adorable! I think it was a great chose with that top. We all have at least 1 staple item which can be paired with pretty much everything, this looks like yours! You look fab, as usual :)

Thanks so much Charlotte! This top is absolutely a staple!
DeleteI'm loving the new hair! I'm sorry I haven't been blogging much recently so I missed the change. It looks really cute on you. I like the skirt, although for some weird reason I thought it was Pikachus instead of cats on it at first. Which would also be totally cool.
ReplyDeletelove this cute skirt!

I'm impressed that you schedule that far out! I usually schedule 1-2 weeks out but I never know what outfit I'm going to wear until the day I wear it, haha. I love how you've had that top for so long. It looks so versatile and adorable! What a great find.
