Today we went to Lombardi Ranch, a pumpkin patch about three minutes away from our home. Kevin and I both grew up in the same small town and we both have fond memories here when we were kids. Obviously, we had to start our own tradition with Bianca. This place can get ridiculously crowded in October, especially on the weekends. Since Bianca wakes us up at 6:30 every morning, we went bright and early. It was such a wonderful experience and a great first trip as a family. This marks the official start to the holidays and I can't wait to share them with my little girl.
That place takes the concept of a pumpkin patch to the next level! Those hay horses are impressive, and the mountains are so cool in the background. We always used to go pumpkin- and apple-picking when I was little, but I grew up in Massachusetts, so the landscape looked very different.
How great that you and Kevin both have memories of the same places from growing up, and that you get to share those places with Bianca! I love her little smiles and pouts in these pictures, and her spunky Halloween outfit is THE CUTEST.
What a fun family tradition to start. It looks like a cute place, I love the pumpkin height measurement! Also I wish I could have her outfit in adult size! Kids clothes are the cutest, especially when they are Halloween themed! Justine http://theredlipchronicles.blogspot.com
