I'm not one to complain much on my blog but geez, life has been exhausting lately. Bianca is teething (as always) but she's crankier than ever. Unless she's in my arms she is screaming. She's never really been like this so it's kind of throwing me for a loop. I feel like I haven't had any time for myself, and after so many days you kind of go crazy. Thankfully, pretty dresses like these give me some sanity. Sammi let me borrow this dress and I definitely wore it on multiple occasions before I had the time to photograph it. I think I might have delayed it subconsciously so I could keep it just a little bit longer :).

Next weekend Kevin and I are going to a charity dinner to benefit children with cancer. Since my cousin's daughter is fighting cancer right now this definitely hits home. I may have my issues and need to vent from time to time, but nothing can compare to dealing with an infant with cancer. Speaking of little Scarlette, if you're interested in donating to help her, my cousin, and her family out, please click HERE for more information.

what an adorable dress on you! I remember this stage well .... I called it the 'barnacle' stage where they seemed to cling to me and I could never put them down. It does pass .... usually right around when they get their legs. Once they start walking (aka running) it is a whole new ballgame - they are off to the races!
ReplyDeleteyour dress is perfect :D
ReplyDeletethis dress is beautiful. i am so sorry that your daughter has been in pain! :( that must be so exhausting!

The colours with your hair are just stunning. You need to be on the front of a magazine in this.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
Hope the teething stops soon.

We all need to vent sometimes ;). I hope Bianca's teething gets better, so that you can get a little relief. Your dress is absolutely darling though! Thank goodness for cute dresses that make us feel good :).

ReplyDeleteYour pink hair makes the green of this dress really pop!!
ReplyDeleteDressing up and feeling pretty sure can brighten a day even if it's otherwise crappy. Sorry things are kind of crappy and busy lately. I hope things look up soon! You do look incredibly pretty in this green dress. It's so flattering too!

Oh! Here's hoping things look up and you are able to start getting some time to recharge yourself in your days.
ReplyDeleteIn he meantime, not only does the dress look cute on you but it compliments the pink hair so well.
The dress is adorable. It makes your hair really pop! :D
ReplyDeleteNot that I would know, but the teething won't go on forever. Hang in there! I can't help but marvel at the fact that you are still maintaining your blogging with an infant - it's an amazing achievement!

It's impressive that with a teething child you've managed to take photos at all, I'd think! And what lovely photos they are. That dress looks great on you and I like the pairing with the blue shoes. Stunning as ever. And very sad about your cousin's daughter - I've had a child with cancer in my family too and it seemed beyond anything I can imagine in terms of what his parents went through. Hoping she makes a speedy recovery x
ReplyDeleteThat dress is just breathtaking and looks so flattering on you. I'm in love with the neckline and the cut of the dress. And the color, the buttons, and the polka dots! I hope this phase with Bianca passes soon so you can get some relief! And I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin's baby. I did a shift at a local hospital in the pediatrics department and as heartbreaking and painful it is seeing sick patients, there's something more painful to see kids, especially babies and infants, suffering from disease. I pray for a miracle for her!
ReplyDeleteSo so cute! That dress is incredibly flattering on you, and the color on it compliments your hair so well! Hopefully Bianca starts feeling better soon (: luckily teething doesn't last forever, so there is a bright side to everything!
ReplyDeleteHehe, I loved this dress when I borrowed it from Sammi also! It is so comfy and POCKETS. Plus it looks so great with your pink tresses.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you have been stressed...must be hard on those little babies when they can't express what's wrong-all they know is that their mouth hurts! Hoping she feels better soon :) Thinking of your little cousin's child with cancer too...It's hard when they have to go through things like that at such a young age. Doesn't seem fair!
Your wardrobe is absolutely perfect. Stunning shoes and beautiful dress.
ReplyDeleteOn the one hand, I love being around babies, and some day I'd definitely like one of my own. On the other hand, they're kind of terrifying. I don't know what I'll do when I can't just, you know, give it back to whoever really owns it.
ReplyDeleteBut the dress looks lovely on you, so I'm glad that it's giving you a little measure of sanity. That color is awesome with your hair.
