Inspiration: Hair

I have to admit, I'm kind of a hair fanatic.  I'm always changing the color, growing it out, chopping it off.  Bangs?  No bangs?  It's kind of a long standing joke at work because I'm known for never keeping a style for too long.  Some people still call me "blondie".  Guys, I haven't had blonde hair in years!  Anyway, I'm always on the hunt for something new and here are a few girls whose hair is pretty much to die for!  I was going to say "dye" for, but I don't even think I'm that corny!  But I posted it anyway so I guess I am :)

Kaylah of The Dainty Squid

Since I've been crazy about colors lately (I'm thinking violet is my next color adventure) I've had total hair envy thanks to Kaylah.  She always has these bright vibrant hues and she mixes colors together to get something truly unique.

Elana of Room 334

I have always loved Elana's hair.  The way she curls it is pretty much perfect and I love her color.  It also looks so healthy, I'm jealous!

Crissy of CANDYPOW

Another beautiful girl with a love for changing her hair up!  I'll admit I've looked through her hair archives more than a few times.  She's changed her hair to pretty much every color in the rainbow!  The best part?  That's all her natural hair!

Mary of Fashion Birds

In my opinion, Mary had the best ombre color.  While she may not be rocking it anymore, her ombre was always my favorite!

Jamie of Petite Panoply

Blue eyes and red hair has always been my favorite color combination!  Jamie is such a cutie and I love her fun hairstyle.  I've told her before that she belongs on the set of Mad Men!

There are so many bloggers with gorgeous hair so I know I missed more than a few of you.  Who inspires you?  And how do you find your next hair color/style?  I'd love to hear your feedback in the comments below :)

  1. They are all so pretty! I wish I had the guts to change my hair color hahaha!
Yesterday I was talking to my husband about doing just a strand of hair in a blue. Let’s see how it goes! I always loved red hair, I’m inspired by Hayley Williams!

  4. So cute!! Love how your hair color changes so much- I'm debating a hair change for Spring :-) I've been every color under the sun but thinking I'm going to stay brunette for now. Chopping mine off may be an option mostly because all I wanna do is grow it out and then when I do, I hate it and have to cut it. Lol. This post was enjoyable to read and I love meeting new bloggers!! :-) Have a great weekend friend!

  5. Can you believe that I've never dyed my hair? The craziest thing I've done has been chopping off 8 inches for Locks of Love in the 7th grade. I have really been loving the ombre look lately!

  6. Great hairstyles! I always loved to play around with my hair, but now I think I should stop dyeing it (even though I would kill for a colorful hairstyle or maybe something gingery) because if I continue so, I should cut my hair and I wouldn't like that for sure :)

  12. Love these! This is going to sound nuts, but in addition to the usual magazines and style shots and all that inspire hair, I've been known to look through old yearbooks to find the cut I'm looking for. I'm not suggesting going for anything that was left in the 70s/80s/90s for good reason, but it's a good way to find looks you may not have seen before. It led to me eventually going for a pixie cut for a while, which I LOVED.

Looking forward to checking out these bloggers! I've never dyed my hair, because I can't picture anything but red on myself, but maybe I'll find a new cut to try :)

  14. I love these inspirations! I used to change my hair a TON before I finally settled on the style I have now, which I've had for a little over a year...which is probably the longest I've ever kept with one style! My hair inspiration right now is Julia from Gal Meets Glam (since she cut it). It is the most perfect color and her hair always looks so shiny and healthy!

  15. I recently got an undercut! I actually had a really similar "Hairspiration" post on my blog (it's the second most recent) and had such an awesome time going through different pictures of girls that had gotten them. I originally did the cut for a bonding session with my team, but now I'm thinking I might keep it!

  16. Ahh thank you for the feature :D

I was inspired by Susan Coffey's red hair a few years ago. I went much brighter of course haha. My new hair idol is Lua P. That red blonde/orange ombre.
