Layering is not really my forte, but when I received this skirt from Kristian I instantly felt challenged to do so. I love the layered look of chiffon but hadn't found the right combination of pieces in my closet. This tiered top has been hiding among other forgotten clothes because it never really looks right on me. It just so happens that this skirt was the missing piece for my perfect chiffon getup. Thanks Kristian!
This weekend has been unusually busy. I've been writing and sending thank you cards to everyone who attended our wedding (not so bad) or bought us gifts (soooo many loving friends did). My hand has been numb for days! While I may need a carpal tunnel surgery in the near future, I'm just glad to take that massive task off my "to do" list. And in case you're wondering, yes, I have many "to do" lists. It's part insanity and part obsessive compulsive disorder. I don't know what I would do without my life planned on paper. I hope I'm not the only crazy one!
I am looooving all these layers, the chiffon is so beautiful! Love the tiers, such a romantic look. And that cardigan/jacket thingy is so beautiful. I loooove writing to do lists and having my life written on paper keeps me sane xJennaD
Ohhhh all these layers are sooo gorgeous:) I really like how you wore it with such a drapey cardigan too. And those gladiator sandals look lovely with it. Eeep this whole thing is just so free people-y and I absolutely love it. And nope, you are definitely not the only crazy one hahaha. I make to do lists and schedules for myself all the time just so I can estimate what time I can go to sleep hahaha. And hmmm I am planning on visiting the UC schols when I go to LA and the Claremont schools :)
What a dreamy outfit! I love it. And I think it's good that you have to do lists, I know people who should do the same! But then I'm a little OCD myself.
I love how you made the top and skirt look like they were meant to be together (I thought it was a dress at first!). And that cardigan is so cute. I'm in the (very slow) process of wanting to open a storenvy shop, too. So pretty and delicate!
It took me so long to figure out which part of the outfit was your top versus the skirt. I love how you worked the pieces together so seamlessly to the point where the two individual pieces ended up looking like a single dress. Love the frills at the end!
I can totally relate to the hand cramps and carpal tunnel, lol!! I blame it for "accidently" not getting all of my thank you cards out..haha. But I did try my very best to make sure everyone got properly thanked, the cards are just so hard to get done. Anyway, you looks positively lovely in this outfit, Miss Ashley. I would say that you are much better than you think at layering ;) Especially with this beautiful outfit, you look gorgeous!
Stop it. You're way way WAY too beautiful, missy. Also, I'm DYING to meet up with you soon. Life is sort of beginning to calm down, so, let's get at each other!!! You're SO GORGEOUS and I need that kimono wrap. So lovely. xo
