Little known fact: I'm obsessed with tomatoes. It's weird because I know so many people who are repulsed by them. But they hold a special place in my heart. I usually eat one whole (with a little salt) as an after work snack. So I guess when I saw this tomato print skirt I knew why I wanted to own it. I love the bright colors and the higher waistline. I'm gravitating towards the high waistline lately. Plus, looking at this skirt kind of makes me hungry!

I was lucky enough to model for Modcloth on Tuesday. I was so excited when I booked a shoot with them, it really was a dream come true! I can't wait until the pictures show up on their site. From what I'm told, it should only be about two weeks! It was a long, fun, exciting day and the entire Modcloth crew was so professional and sweet. I feel like I'm still dreaming :).

Aw, you've got my memory bank rolling with the tomatoes. When I was little, my dad used to cut up a perfectly ripe tomato and sprinkle some sugar on them - we treated them like dessert!

I think it would look really beautiful with a more natural tone for the tights, but this outfit otherwise looks soooo pretty and I like it a lot. The top is so sweet too!
