Anchors Away!

You wouldn't be able to tell from these photos but it was raining!  92 degrees and raining, actually.  Overcast days are usually great for photography because you don't have to wait for the sun to go down.  But I do have a toddler so I had to get my timing was right.  Once we drove to the location and I started setting up my camera the rain settled in.  Instead of calling it a loss, I went ahead and pushed through.  It went mostly well, although I have a great amount of photos for a blooper reel!

Ever since I purchased my first Renee dress I've wanted to add another to my closet.  I love the anchor print version but it's been sold out in my size for what seems like forever.  I decided to take a chance and order a size up.  While it's not as snug as my red Renee, it's still workable until I can get it altered.  I figured it would be the perfect dress for the holiday this weekend when it's accessorized with red.  Of course, I had to break out my red Chevy brooch that was gifted to me by my favorite Junebugs.

I'm going to spend two days this weekend with Kevin and Bianca, which is incredibly rare!  I hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday!
