Darling Dee Dee

It's finally here!  I'm pretty sure I was the first person to wait list for this Dee Dee dress months ago because it was the dress of my dreams.  I just couldn't imagine a more perfect dress for summer.  The fact that it's part of the Junebugs and Georgia Peaches collection just made it that much more desirable.  Now it's a part of my carefully curated closet and I couldn't be happier.

I tend to be between sizes because I have a smaller bust and waist but a larger bottom.  For the most part, unless it's a wiggle, I order the smaller of the two sizes.  When I initially ordered this dress I went ahead with the smaller size.  Unfortunately, it didn't really work for me.  The bust and waist was perfect but the sleeve didn't fit my body right at all.  I decided to try a size up and this one worked so much better.  I prefer the fit of the smaller size in the bodice, but the larger size is more practical and comfortable.  If you're between sizes in general and you're looking to purchase a Dee Dee (it comes in four gorgeous color ways), I highly suggest sizing up.

My sister is in town this week from NYC and I'm really happy to see her.  I feel like she barely gets time with Bianca and she grows so much between her aunts visits.  My work schedule is pretty solid, but we always stay up late together and watch episodes of Impractical Jokers.  Because seriously, it's the best show ever.
