Let me just say: I'm pretty happy that I'm now a married woman. My normal everyday stresses are sometimes annoying, but nothing compared to the added stress of wedding planning. Even with a small ceremony you cannot hide from the little things that just get to you. I can say with a huge sigh of relief that I can now worry about normal things like getting to work on time and what to make for dinner. It's the little things...
I'm getting used to the whole "remixing my wardrobe" thing. You never realize how much you can utilize a piece until you have to. This peplum top looks great with pants, but since I never wear pants this top just went hidden in my closet. This was the first time I wore it with a skirt and I actually liked it! I tucked it in because a peplum silhouette with a skirt looks kind of shapeless. What do you think? How do you remix trendy pieces in your wardrobe?
I can't wait to show you wedding pictures and give you a look into our special day ♥
Congratulations, Ashley!! I am so happy for you :) I can totally relate with the big sigh of relief, my wedding was amazing and so much fun but goodness, the next day a huge weight was off my shoulders and I could go back to just being me :) You look absolutely lovely by the way, your hair color looks amazing with the scarf and this outfit fits you so nicely :)
Congratulations on getting married, I bet it is truly lovely and relaxing to just settle into your new life as a 'Mrs'.
I really love this outfit, you look so pretty and feminine. I think it's cute how you appear to have even co-ordinated the colour of your plaster (I think you call them bandaids in the US?) with your outfit. It made me smile.
Have a lovely Sunday, I am a new follower and loving your blog :)

Wow wow wow......congratulations & best wishes Ashley & welcome to the married world. I know you'll be the best at it & any endeavor you put your heart on!!! Lovely dress btw!!! Also, if you got time....my latest post Green Lines was picked up by Lucky Mag Community as one of their top posts for the week making the post land in the top/banner page. Hope you could check it out....& click/vote if you wish!!! :-)
You look gorgeous, your peplum top looks great tucked in too, I never thought of that! I can imagine that getting back into the post wedding swing of things can be a relief! Congratulations again and can't wait to see pictures (I loved his blue suit and the beautiful silhouette of your dress I saw on Facebook!) xo Hannah
I love this remix and your skirt is the prettiest color. I'm glad the stress of wedding planning is over -- that seems like too much work. I can't wait to see photos!
Congrats again on getting married! I loved the photos you put on instagram, you two looked so wonderful! I love this look, that skirt is such a gorgeous colour, and perfect with the peplum top tucked in. Remixing can be so tough, I am realizing there are some pieces in my wardrobe that were a waste. I think it'll help me be a better shopper xJennaD
Congratulations on the wedding, i'm so happy for you Ashley! :) This outfit is so pretty, I really like the high waisted skirt and how you tucked in the peplum top --such a great idea! I don't have a peplum top (yet!) but I did see Blair from atlantic-pacific wear a peplum top over a skirt and it looked really cute I think:
I seriously can't wait to see the photos from your big day!! Hope it was everything you hoped for! Glad you're back to a normal less stressful life. That's a good idea to tuck in the peplum. I never wear mine with skirts because it just looks wierd...unless it's like a fitted pencil skirt or maybe a maxi? I really love the color of this skirt! :) -Jessi haircutandgeneralattitude.blogspot.com
Love the outfit! Gorgeous! Great blog! Congratulations!!

Be featured on Stylishly In Love: If you would like a chance to be featured on my fashion blog, then email me a picture of your go-to outfit for Valentine's Day. In honor of Valentine's day I will be featuring 14 bloggers. Make sure to email me by February 11th. Thank you.
I kind of feel like I own no 'trendy' pieces like that! I love that you can tuck in peplum like that but it looks awful on me. And I love the print on it.
I'm so excited that you are married. I got your thank you card yesterday - so sweet!!
Your top reminds me of sprinkles in a really cute kind of way, heheh! Would have neve guessed it was a peplum top--that's a creative way to wear a peplum shirt a different way. Cute pastels!
I started my blog back in July partly to challenge myself to come up with new ways of wearing things. Only recently have I begun to really put together outfits that I never would have thought possible had it not been for the fashion/style blogging community (e.g., polka dots and tie-dye. Who knew?)
Congrats on being a married woman! I am so excited to see wedding stuff! Maybe it's the sleep deprivation talking here, but I didn't see any wedding stuff up yet. Looking forward to that!
It's a lovely outfit <3 Congratulations for getting married . Wishes for your married life :)x

I don't really like peplum tops, but I like how you remixed it by tucking it into your skirt! Because the print is really cute :)
