The minute my friend Jill posted these shoes on her Instagram I knew I needed them!  Considering they were only 35 dollars, it didn't take much convincing to guilt myself into buying them.  I love the print so much and I am attracted to anything with a t-strap and a platform.  I really wanted to do a "modern pinup" feel, so I wore some high waist khaki shorts with a loose top.  If I'm showing some leg (which is rare) I cover up everything else!

I consider myself privileged to live in the United States (let alone southern California) because my mother and her family immigrated here from Argentina when she was a girl.  While Argentina is gorgeous, it doesn't offer the opportunities that this country does.  I am very proud to be a first generation born American and I'm very proud of my Argentinian roots on both sides of my family :)

It's been a good year since I've been on vacation.  Even then, I took three days off and had a quick trip to Paso Robles for wine tasting.  While it was a great vacation it was not enough time spent away from work!

It turns out a close friend of my boyfriend is planning a wedding in Hawaii in October... Which means Hawaii is in my horizon for the first time ever!  I've always wanted to swim in a clear ocean and explore a completely different environment.  I can't help but feel the excitement for a trip that is four months away.  

This dress is perfect for a hot summer day (or paradise).  I love that you can pretty much zip it up and go!  I decided to go with all bright colors by pairing it with green flats and a colorful headscarf.  What do you think?

This post today is the first time I'm showing you my everyday purse.  While it's cute and practical, it's VERY oversized and usually consumes any photo.  I have everything I could ever need in there and, of course, I have to carry it around with me at all times.  

This hat is special to me because my boyfriend picked it out for me a few months back.  He's not exactly the most fashionable person out of the two of us (but he sure can kill a spider and put me to shame in the house cleaning department) but he definitely has his moments :).

I'm shaking off another busy weekend.  We had to go to Universal Studios again, the new Transformers ride is awesome and I need to get full use of my season pass.  It's pretty much a very short drive or a long walk from my place so I think it's this years' summer hangout.  You would never guess that I'm 28, right?
