Summer's Gone

 

Ever since I was a child all I ever wanted to be was a ballerina.  I took classes while I was young, but I realize now that I was more into the pink skirts and ballet shoes than the actual form of the dance.  Which totally makes since now because I am instantly drawn to anything pink and frilly.  Can you really blame me?  This dress is so cute!

Keeping It Casual

I didn't realize until I started writing this post that everything I'm wearing is currently on sale.  I in no way planned this, but again, I feel a sense of pride when I can look nice without breaking the bank.  You may not know it but Christmas will be here in no time!

I'm very excited to wear this skirt because this is part of the winning outfit I styled for Tulle!  I decided to pair up my floral skirt with a black tulle skirt underneath (yes, I realize it is a play on words) for some extra texture and "poof".  I love big heavy skirts so wearing one under another is very common for me.  

I hope you had a great Father's Day!  I had the chance to visit my mother, my father and step mother, my boyfriend's mother, and my grandparents separately and all in one day.  It was a busy day but I love getting to see my family and spend some quality time with them :)

Better Than Fine

It's no secret that I've been looking for a great hi-lo skirt or dress for months.  No joke, even my dad knows what a hi-lo hemline is.  I never thought that I would find the perfect one while dropping off my prescription at Target!  

The bright floral print is what initially attracted me to it.  I literally stopped in my tracks and took the dress off the rack.  Thankfully it fit like a glove and I walked out with another great summer dress.  

I'm happy to announce that, thanks to my lovely readers, I won the Tulle stylist contest!  I'm really excited to be featured on their website and I can't thank you enough for your support.  I am so very happy!
