Geometric Squares

Gemini Taubergé Geometric Squares skirt

Although it's only been five days, it feels like I haven't posted in forever.  I took an unexpected blog hiatus while enjoyed some time with my family this past weekend.  While I can start to feel a bit of pressure if it's been longer than usual, I'm more than happy to spend a few days away from the computer.  I worked one day, spent time with my mother in law, and had my sister stay with me all weekend.  Overall, it was everything I could've asked for!

This fabulous skirt was handmade by Gemini Tauberge.  She makes every skirt to order and has a great selection of fun and colorful prints.  Unlike other circle skirts, this one does not need a petticoat!  I'm used to wearing one everyday, so having a petticoat free outfit every once in awhile is a comforting change.  This skirt is made of a nice heavy cotton and is lined with a silk-like polyester fabric.  I'm most excited about the print, I love the geometric squares in fun spring colors.  Make sure to to check out her other lovely skirts HERE!

  7. Love the geometric print! I took a sort of hiatus from taking pictures (five days) because I had a backlog and we had lots of rain, and it was really nice! Just being able to skip the entire process of taking pictures, which can take forever sometimes, and go straight to posting and writing was so relaxing. I ended up missing the picture-taking at the end, though.
