Today I've chosen to use a beautiful plum color called Craft. There wasn't that much thought process into my decision other than it matched the shirt I was already wearing. As you can see, when my lips are completely nude they're almost invisible! I started with just a bit of chapstick, instead of my usual lip primer/liner combo. With a long wear liquid lipstick primer and lip liner are no longer needed. Anytime I can cut a step out of my makeup routine I consider that a win!
Unlike other liquid lipsticks (specifically Lime Crime's Velveteens), Anastasia's line does not dry immediately. I love that I have extra time to make corrections to the lip line. Lord knows I don't get it perfect the first time! The color is extremely saturated and I only need one coat to get the color pictured. The wear is amazing and will last through breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But the best part: It won't dry out your lips or create feathering! Anastasia is the only line I've encountered that can keep my lips moisturized.
Have you tried Anastasia's Liquid Lipsticks? What's your go-to lipstick? If you have any questions please let me know in the comments below!

Looks good... you always look amazing though. I totally want to see a "brow tutorial" because I just love the shape of yours.

Aww thanks Taylor! I've had a few requests for a brow tutorial but I just don't feel comfortable because I'm not an "expert". Thank you though, brows are the most important part of my makeup routine!
DeleteYou look gorgeous! This color is great on you, too. I've never tried a liquid lipstick (mostly because my lips are usually so dry that I have to wear ones that have a balm built in), but I basically bow down to everything Anastasia soooo. Also, your brows look perfect. <3

I might have to give this a try! I love long wearing lipsticks or lip liner and lipstick combos, but my lips can end up quite chapped by the end of the day. It's great that you didn't run into that with this product, that definitely makes it worth a try in my book.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful shade :)
