Sail to the Moon

bluestripedress8

This has to be one of my favorite dresses, ever.  It's one of the only pre-pregnancy dresses that still feels completely comfortable with my baby bump.  I have it in both black and pink and I'm showing off Jessica's version in blue.  For a piece that's under fifty dollars, I'm surprised that the fabric is so heavy.  It works just fine in summer but it's nice and thick for the cooler months.  I just wish it came in even more colors, I would probably buy them all!

I'm getting another ultrasound later today.  At this moment I'm 25 weeks so she is going to look so different from the last time.  I'm also getting a 3D ultrasound, which means we get a better view of what she actually looks like.  My sister took the day off to go with me as well so it makes this session extra special :)

Well, my last day of work before maternity leave is November 29th.  Which is just a few days shy of being nine months pregnant.  I'm not going to lie, I've been counting down the weeks lately.  Work has definitely become harder and I can't work long hours like I used to.  I look forward to spending the end of the year (and my birthday) nesting at home and preparing for the big day.  Just eleven more weeks!

xoxo

  7. I can't believe how close that time is getting! I'm attempting to work up until my due date, we'll see how that goes. This is a fantastic dress and it definitely does work for both pre-pregnancy and during pregnancy! I'm sure it will work for you after too!

  9. 3D ultrasounds are fun! I had them done for both of my boys for free because we know a woman who runs her own facility. hehe. She showed me Micah in 4D but didn't take pictures of him in that way. That was cool too. They really did look so similarly to what we saw, but because Leto was too far along in my womb when I got his done, it was harder to see him.
    I hope you have fun!!!!
    You look gorgeous!!!

  11. You look great. I live finding dresses that still fit and ones that I can wear now and after the birth. I'm not starting my maternity leave until the first week if January but I'm already counting down. I hope the ultra sound went well. We saw our baby last week at our 20 week scan and unfortunately, that will be the last time. If everything is ok with the pregnancy we only get 2 scans here in the uk. X

  16. Looking cute as ever! Love the dress! Looking at your photos I'm becoming more hopeful that I myself won't get a lot of weight during my pregnancy one day. Women here really do get heavy when it comes to it.

Looking forward to your future posts!
