Spring for Spring

pinkdress2

It's official!  Spring is here!  I couldn't be more excited about it.  Here in California spring is more like a midwest summer which is perfectly fine with me.  My coats can go back into storage (so happy about that) and my tights fade out for bare leg season (not so happy about that).  Deb Shops let me pick out a perfect spring outfit and this is what I came up with.

Obviously I had to mix up a bunch of pastels into one outfit.  I love color and I'm not afraid to use it!  I also went for a cute heart cut out dress.  While I have several cut out dresses (I just realized this), none of them have a heart detail in the back.  I couldn't resist!  I think this outfit personifies both my style and the new season.

What are you looking forward to this season?  I'm personally hoping more houses pop up on the market.  The inventory is so low right now and our first house just hasn't come to us yet.  While we aren't in a rush, it would be nice to find something while the interest rates are low.  Ugh, being an adult is hard!

  8. When do we get to see a post with your pink hair?

Sorry about the house thing! It's rough. We only got to look at 4 houses, the house we picked isn't perfect by any means... but we got one, so I have to keep reminding myself of that. Hopefully more houses will start popping up!

    1. I have a bunch of posts pre scheduled but it will debut here in April!

I think you and Adam made a good decision. It's best to get into something while the interest rates are good so you can build equity to get your eventual dream home :)

  14. Omg the colors!! I love all of them together soooo cute! I really want to try a heart cutout dress but the whole no bra situation worries me...not sure if the cutout is placed strategically so a bra strap can be hidden?

  20. What a gorgeous looking dress. The pink is very pretty and I like that though the cut-out makes it very special, the shape and look from the front are very classic and timeless.

  33. This is so cute! I love pastels, and bows, and wedges, and back cutouts :)

I know exactly how you feel about houses. We live in a small town, so there's not a lot of options right now. It took weeks to find a rental that would could even get to before it rented (seriously - everything was renting within hours of going on the market).
