Today is Sunday and the weekend has officially started for me. I had to work yesterday and it was just one of those really rough days. Even though I'm exhausted, overworked, and underpaid, I try my best not to complain. I feel lucky to have a job and to be doing something that services the community. So instead, I'm going to tell you about this ridiculously cute ombre dress that I borrowed from Jessica of Midwest Muse :)
I almost feel bad raiding Jessica's closet all the time but I just can't help it. She has the cutest wardrobe and I find myself pining over so many of her outfits. Even though there is about ten inches in height difference we somehow make each others wardrobes work. The chest detail of this dress is gorgeous, but it was much more fitting on Jessica so I modified it by adding a cardigan.

oh how darling! I never in a million years would have thoguht to tie up a cardi, how perfect! That dress of Jessi's is so pretty, always love seeing the diff stylings! http://dusanabotswana.com/
This dress is adorable, I love the ombre effect on it, definitely a lot of fun! Ugh working weekends is the worst, I'm glad you like your job though! It's an important one :) xJennaD
I would have NEVER known it was the same dress! Even though I love the chest detailing on it, I really love how it looks with the ruffled cardigan. I totally feel you now being pretty much exhausted all the time, I cannot wait for a break longer than 2 days!
Oh my goodness you styled this dress so beautifully, love how you added the cardigan! So fun that you can borrow from other bloggers! Jessica looks so lovely too!
I know what you mean! I almost feel bad for how much of her stuff I've been borrowing, but I can't resist! Oh man, I'm so excited to get this dress. It's just so cute! I love it with the sweater, what a great touch.
That dress is soooo pretty! I love the purple ombre and how you wore it with the ruffly cardigan--even more prettiness added to this outfit! You and Jessica both styled it so well :)
the ombre dress really is beautiful :) love the gradient colours! and your shoes are so lovely as well, amazing how they're the perfectly matching shade to your hair haha!
Wow it doesn't look like the same dress at all! Love how you wore it with the cardigan knotted. So cute. And I know how the whole overworked, underpaid thing goes! Been there done that. -Jessi http://haircutandgeneralattitude.blogspot.com
Woah, I didn't recognize this dress until I saw the picture of Jessica! You really did this piece justice and made it totally your own. So very pretty!
