You can't tell by the look of these pictures, but it was raining when I took them. The past few days have been cold, rainy, and miserable but that's no excuse to dress down. This dress from Debshops is a perfect piece to dress up or down without looking sloppy. Today I chose to go a little on the dressy side with a few pops of color. What do you think?
I also wore this dress to my early birthday dinner on Friday. Because the holidays are so hectic, I tend to celebrate a little bit early. I had a dinner with a few friends and one of my brothers, it was small but really nice. It also rained on Friday so our night ended a bit early, us Californians aren't used to partying in bad weather!
I'll be hosting Christmas dinner this year with my fiance's family. I've decided on ham but I'm still planning out my side dishes and dessert. Do you have any must have dishes for Christmas? Please let me know if you do!
Oooo I'm loving all the color here! And that fur stole was the perfect touch for a fancy little birthday dinner :) And I'm polish so we make these old school dishes my great-great grandma used to make...and trust me, you wouldn't want to try those out haha. They look scary and all of them are fish dishes. Ohh sweet farm people =P
I have some yummy really easy roasted veggies going up on the blog today - they are a great side dish! And I love this dress - it's perfect for an evening out indeed. and I hate when it rains and rains and is like impossible to get photos. You can't tell at all here!
I love all the pops of colour in this outfit it's absolutely perfect on you. And a happy early birthday too!! That sounds like a nice way to spend the evening. I don't do well in the rain either haha xJennaD
Everything is changing for us for how we celebrate things in life, so I am unsure what my favorite dish is for Christmas. I don't think we make anything differently from Thanksgiving actually! Your dress is so cute! I hope you have a really wonderful birthday, by the way. +Victoria+
You look wonderful and your hair looks extra beautiful. I hope you enjoy hosting Christmas -- it sounds like a huge/fan thing to do. Also I like the fur!
This dress is so pretty, I love the pops of color with it! I really need a pair of mustard tights, they're so cute. And my must-have side dish is always mashed potatoes, no matter what!
Super cute! You must have the most amazing closet. I've never seen so many cute dresses! I love the color addition and yes... why has it been so cold here?!?! I was literally shivering last night.
Love the dress! It emphasizes your lovely hair color. Great outfit :)
