This outfit post almost didn't happen due to a crippling migraine. I hadn't experienced any migraines since I was pregnant so this one kind of knocked me down yesterday. But as I always say, sometimes putting on makeup and a cute outfit cures all. This time it didn't work but Kevin came home with burritos and migraine medicine. Now I'm pretty sure burritos cure all...

These houndstooth cigarette pants just hit the Pinup Girl Clothing site last week and I was dying to try them out. I have them in black and denim, but this version was produced in bengaline, so I was a little bit worried about the fit. Since bengaline is pretty stretchy, these obviously fit different than the cotton twill ones I currently have. I don't think I would have sized down, but I don't feel like they're as flattering either. I still love them and plan to wear them on the regular, but I will say that I feel more self conscious of my lumps and bumps when they're worn.
I've been working on a blog post regarding my hair color and how to maintain it for a few weeks now. I don't normally spend more than a few hours on an outfit post, so fingers crossed this one is full of coherent information! I'm hoping to have it done and ready for the weekend, so if you're thinking about changing your color to something fun, make sure to check out my post!

ugh! I hate migraines! I usually get them when the seasons change since in Massachusetts, the weather goes back and forth a bunch before it settles. the pressure changes get to me! You're right, sometimes nothing works - but burritos and adorable pants help!!
ReplyDeleteMigraines are the worst! This outfit is adorable though. I like the pants, anyway.
ReplyDeleteThese pants!! I loved them when I saw them on Instagram and I love them now. Wish I had a pair like them. They look fantastic on you! I like them paired with the simple top and cute shoes but I bet you could style them a ton of ways!
