This week is going to be a bit crazy for me and my family. I'm going from one job to the next, which means I'll be in training for a few days. We will also be celebrating my mom's birthday early because this weekend is going to be busier than what Kevin and I are used to. Luckily, this is the last weekend of what I like to call "tag team parenting". I think we're both counting the days until our family life returns to normalcy. It's been a lot to take on at once but it's worth it!

Who doesn't love the silhouette of a 40's inspired dress? This Karina "Megan" dress is great for spring because the fabric is so light. I don't usually like a surplice neckline, but since this dress is made of polyester it easily conforms to the skin for minimal exposure. It's also made in the USA, which is something I've been trying to be more conscious of. You can find a great selection of their dresses on their website or on Modcloth.

So, 40's silhouettes look amazing on you. Actually, I've yet to see a style that didn't look amazing on you!

Loving this dress.... it reminds me of some old vintage photographes that I found of my G-Ma back in the day... she was so beautiful as are you! I think these dresses are so timeless.

If I have one goal this summer, it's to add as many multi-functional dresses as possible to my wardrobe. Love this shape. So flattering and can be dressed up or down. (:
