Bows and Stripes

Okay, I'll admit... This doesn't really portray my style.  I don't really like wearing things super tight.  My rule of thumb is if you're going to wear something tight, either do it on the top half or bottom half.  Not both!  But I was having a nice little date night with Kevin so I decided I would wear something that he would like... And boy was he surprised!

Bag- Steve Madden
Necklace- Betsey Johnson
Ring- Forever 21

I guess it's okay every once in awhile to step outside of your fashion comfort zone.  I just don't see myself doing it very often.  Do you have any fashion no-no's?  I'd love to hear them!

    I like the one half or the other rule (though you do look great here), but it is super cute of you to dress with him in mind for this date.

    Also- that is the best pencil skirt!

    I think this works! I agree with you about the tight rule, but for some reason, sometimes looks like this, look best!

    Yes, I could never pull off anything like this! You look fabulous though. I know what you mean about dressing differently for the hubby-my husband likes me to wear different things than I do on the blog!

    my fashion no-no is that one too- i don't like it when everything is super tight either. i also make sure that if my legs are bare then I have sleeves, and vice versa. It's not that I don't like skin showing, I just think it looks boring when there's so little clothes on haha.

    And I just realized that I haven't been following you..like what? Now I am though :)

    I'm the same way (never anything too tight), but you pull this off SO well. You have definitely got the body for it. And it doesn't hurt that the color of the skirt is great too!

    This look is very cute on you! I try to avoid wearing tight fitting clothes too. Butttt if you got the body for it, I think it is a-ok to flaunt it from time to time :]

    You look so amazing! I LOVE those shoes (the heel is so cool) and the pink stripe skirt is soooo pretty. I have the same fashion no-no as you but if the outfit is super awesome (like your's!) then it's completely okay.
