I'm quite surprised I was able to squeeze in one more post for the year! With my work being consistent and my entire family getting sick this month I haven't found much time to get out of the house. It's been unseasonably rainy which means the many mountains I live around are seeing shades of green. It's a welcomed change, even if it's been colder than usual. While I did wear this outfit with a very warm coat, I was happy to photograph this dress for a Wednesday Addams/Nightmare Before Christmas inspired look!
Dress- Collectif via Unique Vintage
Shoes- ASOS
Tights- Target
Bag- Harvey's
Hat- The Beheaded
This Collectif dress is made from a flouncy rayon-like fabric and features a white contrast collar, self tied deep v-neckline, white lace cuffs, and hidden side pockets. I'm always between sizes in Collectif and I opted for my larger size because I knew it wasn't a stretch material. While it fits in the bodice, I think the arms are a bit tight (which is probably a unique problem because I have muscular arms). I paired this dress with my new hat from The Beheaded, which is inspired by Nightmare Before Christmas. I decided to finish off the look with a NBC purse. I figured I would need a little pop of red for my Christmas post!
So what do we think: is Nightmare Before Christmas a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie? I personally think it's an everyday movie so there are no wrong answers here! Let me know your thoughts in the comments and I hope you're having a wonderful holiday season!
xoxo
