Nightcap

 

Is there anything more beautiful than a crisp fall day? I have a hard time trying to think of something that matches that kind of beauty but this new dress from Selkie is up there. It's been a minute since I've shopped with them, mostly because they don't really cater to customers who love black. Thankfully, they released a new collection with this gorgeous nightcap print. It's floral, it's kinda spooky, and it's everything I love in a dress.

The beach day dress is kind of like a Frankenstein version of their day dress in the bust and their ritz dress in the sleeve. I personally love this sleeve but hated the discriminating bust cups of the ritz so this is the perfect dress for my body type. It's a cotton fabric so it's extremely comfortable to wear and has a stiff silky underskirt so it keeps that puff effect. I can range from a size XS-M in Selkie so I'm always a little hesitant when I order. I went with a size small in this dress and it fits *just* right. I feel like I could have also taken a medium for a little more bust room but cotton does give with wear so I think it was the right choice!
