In my 20's I used to pride myself on my print-mixing skills. I used to take lots of fun risks and enjoyed creating an interesting outfit. I'm assuming my life in scrubs really forced me to push myself when I was outside the hospital. I don't really know when that part of me "died" but the new spring collection from Modcloth had me longing for the good old days! While these citrus-printed separates are adorable on their own, I couldn't help but bring them together for the ultimate spring ensemble!

This adorable short sleeved sweater boasts a nice weight knit, is incredibly soft and comfortable, and has a good amount of stretch. I took a size small and I found it to be not too loose but not so fitted either. I feel like I could have taken an XS but it didn't bother me enough to consider exchanging. The Stroke of Genial skirt is fully lined and features a light chiffon-like material, structured knife pleats, and is finished with a side zippered closure. I took a size small and I found this skirt to be a little too big. I'm pretty sure I'm an XS in the Modcloth label but I haven't realized it until now. I'm still super happy with this look and look forward to mixing both these pieces into other outfits in the future!
Frantically getting ready for Easter weekend because I haven't even given one thought to Bianca's Easter basket yet. When I was a child my mom gave us the best baskets filled with fun, personalized goodies. I don't know why I didn't inherit her crafty side and it never bothered me until I became a mom. I think I'm going to hit up Target and give it my best shot... Maybe I'll take my mom with me too! What are you doing this weekend? Let me know in the comments below!

I used to print mix all the time too! I think becoming a mom, it just got easier to throw on a dress and call it good. I can't wait to fit back into my skirts and do more print mixing post this baby. This citrus outfit is darling!
