Even though summer technically lasts until October here in Southern California, I'm still counting down the days until all things fall. Who doesn't love pumpkin spiced coffee drinks, seasonal baking, and decorating/dressing for Halloween?! While this Stop Staring dress has been great for this sweltering summer, I can't wait until I get to work this into my fall wardrobe with some fun layering. Cherry blossoms look gorgeous all year around and the black base allows you to play with lots of fun colors. I guess I've been dreaming about all the possibilites way too much!

This classic vintage-inspired dress is made from a stretch millennium farbic that accentuates your curves but feels light and comfortable while wearing it. It features a sweetheart neckline, molded bust cups, spaghetti straps, a full gathered swing skirt, and a back zippered closure. Like the rest of my Stop Staring wardrobe, I took a size small in this dress and it fits like a glove! I'm hoping one day their swing dresses will have pockets (we all know how important those are) but it's not a deal breaker for me. But I will take any chance I can get to leave my purse at home!
Kevin and I are hosting a party at our house for his coworkers on Saturday. This isn't the first time we're having a party in our new house, but it's definitely been awhile since I've played hostess. I think the plan is to have plenty of tacos, lots of activities for the kids, and a much anticipated Las Vegas fight on tv for the adults. Wish us luck!
