I'm pretty sure the flamingo is the official bird of summer (if that's a thing) and this dress from Unique Vintage embodies everything I love: novelty prints, the color pink, and a flattering 1940's-style cut. I'm drawn to the "zip and go" kind of dress these days, but I don't feel like compromising my style in any way. This dress manages to make all my dreams come true and I couldn't be more excited!

The Amelia dress is made from a soft and super light polyester fabric and features figure flattering princess seams, an asymetrical neckline with a keyhole detail, cap sleeves, and and a-line skirt. It's finished with a long back zipper that allows you to easily step in and out of the dress. I tend to be between an XS-S in Unique Vintage's clothing and I took a size small in the Amelia. Because there's zero stretch to the fabric, this was the right size for my frame. If you tend to be between sizes, I would definitely recommend sizing up like I did.
This is the first time I've included my glasses into an outfit post! I must admit, I'm not used to wearing glasses all the time. I've also discovered that it's really hard to photograph lenses without getting some weird reflection, but I was determined to try! I really love these Keiko glasses (I also have them in black) and I think they were the perfect touch to this outfit. Here's to hoping I get used to putting them on my face more often!
