Fleeting Voyage

greendress5

Well, this is officially the last set of pregnant outfit photos I had stored up on my computer.  It's a little bittersweet, but by the end of my journey I was so ready to feel normal again.  Mostly it was about sushi.  Words cannot express how much I missed chowing down on a soy wrapped spicy tuna roll.  It's pretty much all I thought about for the last nine months.  I'm thankful to have such a wonderful husband who curbed that craving almost immediately after delivery.  And you know what?  It was just as amazing as I had built it up in my head.

Dress- Borrowed from Hannah
Tights- Forever 21
Shoes- Modcloth (exact)
Hat- gift

Please excuse the evident back fat in these pictures, I was 39 weeks pregnant!  I actually really loved borrowing this dress from Hannah, it was one of the few things in my closet at the time where the waist hit high enough to wear comfortably.  Apparently I don't own very many empire waist dresses?  Anyway, it was nice that the hem in the front didn't threaten to expose me either.  When you have a belly that big pretty much all dresses become like mini skirts in the front.  Basically, dressing a baby belly is hard and I'm happy that I'm not staring into an endless closet of impossibilities anymore.

I finally get to show off my panda flats!  These shoes are pretty much my favorite at the moment.  They're super comfortable and they're a great conversation piece.  I hope I'll be incorporating them more into my outfit photos these next few months.

I feel like I'm so out of the loop lately!  I've been busy taking care of Bianca and I have almost no time to read blogs and catch up.  I think I'll spend an hour or two this week to do just that.  I need some alone time!

xoxo

Ashley

  4. The panda flats are so cute!
I'm very glad you got to indulge your sushi craving, I remember after birthing my first baby I was exhausted and starving. All the nurses could find for me to eat was toast (which had gone cold by the time it got to me) and tea (which I don't like), but that cold toast and tea was the best meal I had ever eaten lol!

  13. I love the green and purple together, that's such a stunning combination. I adore the gorgeous panda shoes. Despite having many shoes similar- mouse and cat, I've had my eye on the panda shoes from modcloth for quite awhile and i am thinking I might just have to buy them.
