Cranes

Trashy Diva Jayna Dress in Cranes Print Southern California Belle

Some outfits just come together on a whim and this happens to be one of them.  After having a particularly bad hair day, I almost gave up on making this work completely.  Thankfully, I have quite a collection of vintage hats in my closet and this one saved the day!  This dress is quite lovely on its own, but I fell head over heels once I put on these finishing touches.

The Jayna dress from Trashy Diva is easily one of my favorite cuts.  It features a v-neckline with covered buttons down the center, cap sleeves, a wide fitted waistband, box pleated a-line skirt, and a gorgeous cutout in the back.  This dress style doesn't come around often, so when it showed up as a surpise in the cranes print I was all over it!  I'm normally between a size 2/4 in Trashy Diva and I took a size 4 in this dress.  Because of the flat rayon fabric (it has zero stretch) and the side zippered closure, taking my larger size was the right choice.  I hope this dress continues to make more appearances in the future because I will buy every single one!

Today I'm going to be in a very special, super exciting photoshoot with some dear friends of mine.  I can't really say much right now, but I'm over the moon about it!  Keep your eyes peeled on my Instagram, if I'm able to share some sneak peeks they'll be over there!

xoxo
