I love pushing the boundaries of my personal style. This year I've incorporated more shorter hems to my wardrobe and I couldn't be happier! Smak Parlour has a great selection of vintage-inspired dresses and this polka dot number is the perfect piece to dress up or down. Although it's been cooling down a bit here, I can't wait to throw on a pair of tights and some cute booties with this dress. I keep fantasizing about layering and "winterizing" my wardrobe in hopes that one day it will be cool enough for the occasion!

This super stretchy dress is made from a woven poly blend and very comfortable to wear. It honestly feels like I'm wearing comfy pajamas! It features a contrast Peter Pan collar, long sleeves, pleated skirt with side pockets, and a back zippered closure. I went with a size small and it was perfect for my frame. I chose to add a belt to accentuate my waist but it looks just as cute without one. Considering this dress is just $74, I feel like it's a great price for such a fun fall/winter staple.
For the first time in forever I'm wearing my hair without any extensions. While my hair has grown long enough for me to feel comfortable without them, I still suffer from thin, fine hair. It became much worse after I had Bianca: I lost most of my hair and eyelashes. So these days, I like to use extensions to give my hair a little volume. While I'm not 100% comfortable going without them all the time, I'm starting to embrace my thin hair. It might sound stupid but I'm pretty proud of myself! While I don't think I'll give up extensions forever, I'd like to keep featuring looks without them once in awhile. Here's to hoping I get the courage to keep doing it!
