Vintage Inspired Glam With Besame Cosmetics

Happy Monday!  Can you believe Christmas will be here at the end of this week?  While I'm not necessarily prepared for the festivities ahead, I do have a game plan for my holiday look: vintage inspired glam.  I've teamed up with Besame Cosmetics to show you my favorite products for the look I've created below.  Enjoy!

Holiday Vintage Inspired Looks With Besame Cosmetics

Here's what you'll need:
Besame Cosmetics
  1. Brightening Setting Face Powder
  2. Classic Color Lipstick in Victory Red
  3. Boudoir Long Hair Finishing Powder Brush
  4. Masterliner Lip Contour Pencil in Cerise/Red Velvet
I love all of Besame's setting powders, but the vanilla version is best for my red, sometimes patchy skin.  After applying my foundation, I like to press this gently on my face to keep my skin toned and the shine at bay.  After all, you don't want to worry about reapplying your powder all through the night!  I like to finish with my long hair powder brush for perfect, even looking skin.

As for my lips, a classic red is perfect for vintage inspired glam.  I like to line with the Red Velvet masterliner and fill in with Besame's classic color lipstick (to get the steps on how to apply a perfect red lip, read my tutorial HERE).  I used Victory Red for this particular look, but I constantly switch between Cherry Red, American Beauty, and Besame Red as well.

Here's what I used to polish off this holiday look:
Holiday Party Set
  1. NicCoCo Creations Holiday Super Nova Hair Clip
  2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Brush #12
  3. Unique Vintage Taupe Faux Fur Shoulder Stole
  4. Huda Beauty Faux Mink Lashes
  5. Unique Vintage Red Angora Bow Short Gloves
  6. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo
Of course, a statement brow and some lush lashes are the greatest way to deepen and intensify that vintage inspired look.  I accessorized my heat-set curls with a sparkly starburst hair clip and winterized my holiday dress with some gloves and a faux fur stole.  The smallest details can greatly impact the final product, so don't be scared to add an accessory or two!  Because I opted for the starburst hair clip as a statement piece, I decided to skip on the earrings.  But a beautiful pair of chandelier earrings without a hair clip would be gorgeous as well.
