If you're a mother, you know that when your child gets sick you're probably next in line. Bianca has been under the weather for days yet I had managed to stay healthy. That is, until I started a high fever waiting in line to see princesses at Disneyland. I pushed through and stayed in line for Bianca, but we cut our trip short so I could get some much needed rest. After a full 24 hours of downtime, I emerged wearing this new dress and feeling like a new woman. Apparently I needed some couch time and a gorgeous dress to bring me back to life!

Unique Vintage debuted a few new prints in their fan-favorite Formosa dress and this polka dot version was calling my name. I love the 40's inspired cut, the stretchy fabric, and the versatility of this dress. It can easily go from the office to date night with the simple addition of accessories! While I decided to style this dress with black accents, I can see myself playing with some fun colors (yellow, fuchsia, royal blue). I almost always take an XS is Unique Vintage brand clothing, but I sized up to a S for this dress. While I think I could have taken my usual size, the small works just as well. I'm currently trying to convince myself that I don't need the cream floral version (I totally do)!
