Retrolicious Madison Skirt in Ornaments Print Voodoo Vixen Celine Top in Black

Since the Thanksgiving weekend is officially over, I have no shame when it comes to my holiday outfits!  My birthday is at the end of the year, so the Christmas season holds an extra special place in my heart.  Here at home our holiday decorations are up, trees are decorated, and lights are shining bright.  And thanks to Retrolicious, my wardrobe reflects those holiday joys too!

Just like my Objects of Desire skirt (you can see that post HERE), the Madison skirt features a wide waistband, full and slightly gathered skirt, hidden side pockets, and a back zippered closure.  I love the print on this skirt so much, the gold is actually sparkly!  While you can easily throw a petticoat under it, I opted to go without one.  I took my usual size small in Retrolicious and the fit was perfect!  I haven't decided on my Christmas outfit just yet, but I have a feeling this skirt will be making an appearance.  Some sizes have already sold out, so don't hesitate to add one to your wardrobe!

This week has been/will be kind of crazy, but I'm looking forward to seeing Hamilton with my sister in law on Friday!  I have been looking forward to this for what feels like most of the year and I can't wait to experience it with one of my favorite people on the planet.  I'll make sure to post some pictures of the big day on my Instagram if you'd like to follow along!  But until then: what should I wear?!

xoxo

  1. Wait, did I know we'd be twins with this skirt?? It looks so good on you and the length is perfect!

Re: Hamilton... if it isn't too hot, the TD coat dress would be amazing... or if you still have the UV Hamilton dress, that'd be too perfect. Magenta Floral? I feel like it's a good time to wear something that you don't get to wear often... I will of course be your sounding board if you need opinions :)

  2. I love those wide waitstbands! They give skirts a little bit of an extra oompf.
Hamilton is a play right? Maybe a dress with short sleeves and then a cardigan. So you can take it off when it gets too hot inside! Enjoy Hamilton, I heard it's amazing!
