Tiki Dreams

I can finally cry from happiness!  This Jenny skirt in tiki print has been a "unicorn" of mine for what seems like a lifetime.  I had recently obtained this print in dress form, but since I've extended my wardrobe into separates, I actually prefer the skirt.  It took a lot of time and one sweet PUG fan who was willing to trade to make my dreams come true.  I have about three or four unicorns left and I'm hoping one day my closet will be complete.  That is, if no other unicorns appear haha!

Darling Dee Dee

It's finally here!  I'm pretty sure I was the first person to wait list for this Dee Dee dress months ago because it was the dress of my dreams.  I just couldn't imagine a more perfect dress for summer.  The fact that it's part of the Junebugs and Georgia Peaches collection just made it that much more desirable.  Now it's a part of my carefully curated closet and I couldn't be happier.

Doilie Aqua

I've been having a busy but wonderful week with Bianca.  We've been pretty much inseparable until today (I'm working at the office) and she's been such a sweet little angel.  I'm so thankful that I've been given this calm, loving, patient little lady and I'm lucky to spend so much time with her.  Sometimes lugging a little child around is a lot more work than when it was just me, but she makes it as easy as it can be.  I don't think I could ever complain, she's just too good!

Atomic

Talk about impeccable timing!  It had been raining all weekend and there happened to be a break in the downpour.  While I wasn't very motivated to go out and carry around my camera, my husband insisted I go while the weather was good.  I'm incredibly grateful for his suggestion because there was quite a storm right after I finished.  As much as I love the rain (California sure needs it), I never realized how much it affects my blog!

Changes

This is my very first Doris skirt.  I've usually passed right by them, only because I love the fullness of the Jenny so much.  Since I've been doing my best to work outside of my comfort zone, I took the plunge and purchased this skirt.  The print is so cute and summery, and I'm actually surprised I like this a-line silhouette so much.  Unlike the Jenny, I can wear this skirt without a petticoat or an underskirt which makes it incredibly comfortable.  We'll see if I make any more Doris skirt purchases, but I'll definitely be wearing this one on the regular!
