Hot ghoul summer is here! I'm usually a fan of sleeves but they're almost impossible to wear right now. I've officially reached the time where I'm looking for all the sleeveless options. I had been eyeing this Hemlock dress from Ovate for well over a year and I finally gave in this spring. This piece is light, fits like a dream and is perfect for all my summerween plans!

They create beautiful, timeless pieces that are meant to be worn for a lifetime. The Hemlock dress is made from a cotton/linen blend and features an open neckline, v-shaped waistline, gathered skirt, raw hem and back zippered closure. Since Ovate operates in Canada, I wanted to make sure I got the right size. I waffled between a small and a medium but ultimately went with the medium so I could wear long sleeved shirts underneath during the cooler months. I could have worn the small but I like having the extra room for layers. This dress is so beautiful and easy to wear, I wish I had it in all the colors they offer! If I had to be picky, I would say that this dress needs some pockets and I wish they offered more sizes but I'm overall very happy with the Hemlock dress. I'm super excited to show off these new accessories from Lipstick and Chrome! I live for cute lucite purses and this Art Deco inspired marbled bag is perfect for fancy and/or spooky functions in my future. I also look forward to their collaboration with Johanna Parker every year and these Bloomin' Luna pieces are *everything*. I know it's still summer but these cuties really get me excited about the most wonderful time of the year! Expect to see a lot more spooky outfits here, I'm officially working on all things Halloween from now until October 31st!
