Empower Hour

Smak Parlour Empower Hour Dress in Mustard and Black Gingham

I know it's only August but I am all about fall right now!  I'm getting my cooler weather wardrobe ready and slowly sneaking in spooky goodies for what I consider the most wonderful time of the year.  This lovely dress from Smak Parlour in Philadelphia (they have an online store too) is the perfect summer to fall transitional piece.  It's easy to wear and super functional, but will be really easy to layer up for those cooler months.  Read more about the Empower Hour dress below!

The Empower Hour dress is made from a thick stretch ponte fabric and has attached cotton sleeves and neckline detail.  I love how this dress is made to look like you've layered a top underneath.  It possesses all the cuteness of layering but with the comfort of just throwing on a dress!  It has bust darts, an a-line skirt with large hidden side pockets, and a back zippered closure.  I ordered up from my usual small to a medium in this dress and I feel like I should have stuck with a small.  Because of the stretchy fabric, the bust and waist has a lot of give.  I decided to throw on a belt and rock it anyway, it was too cute not to!  You can find this dress and many other cute outfits at Smak Parlour right now.  Support their small business and get a great deal on something super fashion forward!

I don't know if you can tell, but I sneakily added in one of my favorite new spooky purses: the Book of Spells bag.  Halloween is right around the corner and I am so ready for it!  Expect lots of spooky posts from now until Halloween, I have a ton of great outfits and companies to share with you.  If you need your Halloween fix right now, make sure to follow me on Instagram.  I'm already sharing creepy goodies there and you'll get a first look at what small businesses I am supporting this year!

xoxo
