Yesterday was just one of those no good days.  No matter how hard I tried to go against the negative current, it just washed me away.  From a screaming toddler, to losing my camera remote (ugh, I'm super bummed about that), to not getting anything I wanted done, the entire day was just a mess.  My only saving grace was wearing this gorgeous Viva dress.  Because even if you feel awful, there's something about a beautiful dress that can lift your spirits!

As you might have noticed, I've been slowly incorporating more 40's style dresses into my closet.  I love the simple yet flattering silhouettes that you can just slip on and go.  Pinup Girl Clothing has some wonderful new 40's inspired designs, including this Viva dress.  It's made from a gorgeous pebble crepe, so it has a light flowing feel with a subtle texture.  This dress is also fully lined, which means it will maintain it's beautiful shape when you move.  If you're between sizes, I'd suggest sizing down due to the stretch in the fabric.  It's still in the coming soon section, but this dress also comes in black and red, which I'm hoping to resist.  But I have a feeling they'll have a place in my closet as well!
