Although we're still experiencing 90-100 degree weather here, something about yesterday really felt like "fall". It was windy, the leaves were falling and rustling through the grass, and this was all accompanied by a basic iced pumpkin spiced latte. I may not have to dress the part yet, but something about this time of year has me feeling nostalgic. I decided to take these pictures in a park that I used to play in as a kid. I hadn't been here in years and it seemed so much bigger when I was a girl. It's just as beautiful as I remember and I can't wait to bring Bianca here for some childhood memories of her own.

This Chelsea dress is from Bernie Dexter's personal collection and it has a special place in my heart. I wore it quite frequently when Bianca was just a tiny baby because it made me feel so pretty (and it was about the only thing in my closet at the time that fit). The print is large and vibrant but still dainty enough to wear everyday. I paired it with my Lip Service brooch from Erstwilder and I love how the colors play off each other. It's a perfect "doesn't match but goes together" kind of pairing!
Remember, there's only a few more days to enter the Erstwilder giveaway! There are plenty of ways to enter and five lucky winners will be chosen. To get all the information on the giveaway, click HERE!

ReplyDeleteGreat dress! That's a lovely print, and the brooch fits in beautifully. I think it's very sweet that you're bringing your baby girl here to give her some of the same memories that you had growing up.
