Ruffled Up

A few days ago my boyfriend and I went to a charity event which means I got to play dress up :).  Since it is technically winter all my dresses or skirts are matched with a pair of tights.  I love how textured tights are in style these days because you can find them everywhere.  Between Forever 21 and H&M I've pretty much cleaned out their inventory!  I'm a huge fan of black and red (as you can see here) and I chose a black 3/4 sleeve blazer with a black top and a great red ruffled skirt.  I thought the texture of the tights really brought the whole outfit together and the blue suede shoes added an extra pop of color.

This outfit was perfect for the evening because it was comfortable and cute.  I think it's kind of hard to pull that off (especially when wearing heels) so I consider it quite the accomplishment!  Now off to enjoy the weekend...
