I may be in my 30's, but my love for novelty prints is stronger than ever. This lovely skirt from Emily and Fin has the sweetest lollipop print, which obviously makes me want candy. Like, right now. Other than the adorable print, I love this skirt because it's 100% cotton, has a thick waistband for a defined waistline, full back zip so I can step in and go, and pockets. Because every skirt deserves a good pocket... Or two.

I've noticed the sizing for Emily and Fin runs quite large. I usually float between in XS or S in other brands, but this skirt is an XXS and fits like a dream. If you're between sizes I'd highly recommend sizing down and paying close attention to the size chart so you choose your correct size (their size charts are spot on!). This skirt is also a midi skirt, so it's meant to be longer. I'm juuuuuust shy of 5'7" and this skirt hits me mid calf. If you're a taller lady, this skirt more than accommodates for your stature. If you have yet to check out Emily and Fin's spring collection, I'd suggest taking a look. I'm drooling over so many pieces and the prints are to die for!
Today is a big day for our home: we're starting a kitchen renovation! We purchased an older home, so we've been slowly chipping away at updating certain aspects of it. The kitchen has always been a huge eyesore for Kevin and myself, so getting this project started has been a dream of ours! I'll make sure to post some before and after pictures on my Instagram!
