Sometimes I feel like I can see my style evolving. Thanks to this Misfits dress (and lots of other Deadly Dames styles) I've been able to embrace and appreciate my mom-bod and feel sexy when I want to. I've never been one to show lots of cleavage, but this dress feels modest thanks to the high neckline but showcases your bust in the most flattering of ways. As soon as I put it on I knew it was coming home with me. Kevin and I haven't properly celebrated my birthday like we were supposed to, so I think this is going to be my outfit for the occasion!

I tend to be between sizes and I usually size up for a wiggle dress. I was initially hesitant to do so because this dress is made of a very stretchy "techno" fabric. I think the best way to describe it is swimsuit-like, but in the best of ways. While the smaller size fit, the slit in the back was gaping open and looked odd. I went ahead and sized up and the fit was perfect. I didn't notice much difference in the sizing in the bodice, but there was definitely more room for my overpowering rump. The dress is nicely lined for extra coverage and the full zip in the back lets you easily step into it and go. It hugs your curves in the right places and is extremely comfortable to wear.
I was supposed to go to a fancy birthday dinner with Kevin on Saturday but Bianca surely ruined that. Since she's going to be two in a few days (how is that possible?!) she's been going through a growth spurt and not sleeping at night at all. Seriously, it's like having a newborn again. Since I worked all weekend, I didn't feel like doing anything once I clocked out except throwing on some pajamas and sleeping. While I have yet to achieve a decent night of sleep, I'm hoping I'll have one before we get the chance to celebrate!
