When Decades Collide

Today is the first day this week where I feel somewhat normal.  I've been suffering from some terrible allergy symptoms which have caused my eyes to swell shut.  I was using antihistamines, but they were doing nothing except make me incredibly drowsy.  I went to the doctor yesterday and was given the correct medication which has helped so much!  I have never had allergy issues before, so I now understand the discomfort and miserable feelings that people have described.  I'm just happy that I can see properly again!

Can I talk to you about how much I love this vintage skirt?  I've had it on my favorites list on Etsy for months before I actually pulled the trigger on it.  It's in pristine condition and fits me like a dream, I feel like it was meant to be!  I've been on a bit of a vintage kick lately.  As much as I love repro, vintage has a special place in my heart.  It's rare when you see another person with the same vintage item and I love that every piece has a story.  I can't wait to create new memories and stories in this skirt!
