It's a holiday miracle: it's finally cold enough to wear this amazing pearl coat from Collectif Clothing!  I purchased this coat literally years ago in hopes that one day our perpetual summery weather would change.  I'm glad I kept it because it was the perfect piece for a stroll in one of my favorite historic parks.  It's by far the warmest coat I own and worth every single penny!

The pearl coat features a fitted waist with seams, faux fur trim, a gorgeous swing skirt with deep pockets, and a button down closure.  This coat is available in a bunch of different colors and prints but I love the deep gorgeous burgundy color.  I'm wearing a size XXS (UK6), which is very fitted for my frame.  Since I do live in Southern California and don't need to layer up, I felt comfortable sizing down from my usual Collectif size XS.  If you're in a colder climate, I suggest getting your usual size for room!  Collectif offers the pearl coat and all their other coats in sizes UK6 to UK22.

Christmas is just a few days away and for once I'm totally ready!  I was stressed for a good amount of time but I got everything done with a few days to actually enjoy the season.  Now I need to focus on two important things: what I'm going to bake and what I'm going to wear!  Have you decided what you're going to wear during the holidays?  Let me know in the comments!

I know Christmas is right around the corner but I live in Southern California so you might not see many cold weather outfits here!  With temperatures perpetually in the 80's, this jumpsuit from Samantha Pleet is a great choice for a festive but warm outfit.  Samantha is one of my favorite designers and this is my first jumpsuit from her line.  Needless to say, this won't be my last!

The garden jumpsuit is made from a light cotton fabric and features a round neckline, puffy short sleeves, princess seams, wide leg pants and front pockets.  The love that the print is a beautiful recreation of a wallpaper in Samantha's grandmother's home.  I appreciate the contoured but comfortable fit:  I wore this jumpsuit from photos to work to school pickup and was perfectly comfortable all day!  Samantha makes all her designs in straight and plus sizes and she's incredible with customer service.  I tend to be in between sizes and she's always so responsive to my questions.  I've purchased from other small brands who literally don't even respond to emails/questions so I feel like this is a very important aspect to me when I'm supporting a business.  I'm wearing a size 6, which is a size larger than my normal because I have a very long torso and muscular thighs... I need the extra room!
