What's On My Radar: Current Loves

Happy Friday!  I've been on a small-business kick and I'm honored to share some of my favorites today.  From vintage shops to handmade dresses, jewelry, and even Mickey ears, it's never been easier to get exactly what you want from some ridiculously talented shop owners!  See what's on my wish list this month, I'm telling you, it's all so good.

Ebone and Ivory
  1. Rose Garden Border Print Dress
  2. Toy Story 3 Dress
  3. Prim Puppies Dress
  4. Spring Floral Dress
I featured Ebone's shop in an outfit post earlier this week but I feel like showing off more of her designs!  Handmade (and custom if you ask) in the most beautiful fabrics, Ebone does an amazing job with each piece she creates.  You can also shop by style and then choose the fabric you want.  I love that idea and I feel like I'll be doing that with my next purchase!

Briar's Patches
  1. Star Wars Ears
  2. Haunted Mansion Wallpaper Ears
  3. Dumbo Ears
  4. Buzz Lightyear Ears
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret: Briar's Patches is my go-to shop for custom ears!  As much as I enjoy the ones you can get directly from Disney, I love the idea of supporting a small business and getting the exact character you want.  Hayley does such a wonderful job with each piece and she's just so creative!  I have a looooong list of ears on my wish list right now, but I think a new pair of Star Wars ears is coming home with me soon!

Sconnie and Jam
  1. Happee Birthdae Harry Hagrid Cake Brooch
  2. Golden Snitch Brooch
  3. 3D Owl in Cage Brooch
  4. Hagrid's Pink Umbrella Brooch
Sconnie and Jam has the best pop culture brooches and I'm excited to share some of my favorites!  I love their Harry Potter inspired brooches, especially the 3D Owl brooch (seriously, how amazing is it?!).  While I've only shown a few brooches, they carry all kinds of fun and quirky jewelry!

Jumblelaya
  1. Vintage 1970's Gunne Sax Corset Dress Black Floral Cotton Lace Up Sundress
  2. Vintage 1970's Rainbow Madra Plaid Patchwork Cotton Full Skirt Wrap Sundress
  3. Vintage 1950's Skirt Novelty Print Hawaiian Topless Dancers Scenic Border Cotton Full Skirt
  4. Vintage 30's Dress Olive Green Polka Dot Puff Sleeve Rayon Dress w/ Pockets
One of my favorite online shops for vintage clothing, Jumblelaya always has tons of goodies to shop from!  I love how Jennifer curates the most beautiful items and you can find yourself paying a fair price for them.  I am obsessed with this 30's olive rayon dress!  If it were my size, it wouldn't even be featured here...  It would be in my closet!

Pastello Dresses
  1. 1950's Style Blue White Green Abstract Floral Print Full Pleated Skirt Cotton Dress
  2. 1950's Style White and Purple Harlequin Print Full Pleated Skirt Cotton Dress
  3. 1950's Style Green and Pink Color Block Full Skirt Cotton Dress
  4. 1950's Style White Pink Green Floral Rose Print Full Pleated Skirt Cotton Dress
As a long-time fan of Victoria's shop, I have a hard time deciding what dress I want to purchase next!  She finds the greatest fabrics and makes the most beautiful vintage-inspired dresses.  She also does her best to provide a wide range of sizes, because everyone knows how hard it is to find true vintage that isn't a size zero.  I'm hoping she makes another color block dress in my size in the future, I've been drooling over this one for months!

1138 Clothing
  1. Magical Luna Tie Top
  2. Minnie Mouse Red and White Polka Dot Dress
  3. Magical Luna Circle Skirt
  4. Serpent Beret
The queen of all things cute and geeky, Linda is a talented designer with a vast stock of fandoms.  I tend to wear a lot of Disney-inspired goodies, but 1138 Clothing has everything from Marvel to Harry Potter to Doctor Who!  I really love her berets (I own a few myself) and Bianca is pretty much obsessed with her Luna skirt.  Linda also does custom orders, since I'm the customer who is constantly asking for extra length.  Luckily, Linda is more than happy to work with her customers and all my pieces from her are picture perfect!

What are you crushing on this month?  Care to share a small business with me?  Let me know in the comments below!

xoxo
