Paint It Black

Pinup Girl Clothing Pinup Couture Jenny Skirt in Black Sateen

I have just one more day left for my spooky outfit series!  Depending on how crazy today is, I might be able to knock out one more tomorrow.  I decided to go very "basic" with this Halloween inspired outfit, which might be boring but it's perfect for everyday wear.  When in doubt, black and white stripes are always the perfect go-to.  Which might explain why I have about ten different tops in the same print...

Top- Doll Me Up Darling
Skirt- Pinup Girl Clothing
Shoes- Bettie Page
Hat- Jeanne Simmons
Belt- Pinup Girl Clothing
Petticoat- Etsy
Lipstick- Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Candy Apple and Runway Red Lip Gloss

This top from Doll Me Up Darling looked so cute on Katie and Amanda that I had to get one for myself!  They're super light and figure flattering, plus the price point is awesome.  The only nit-picky thing I will say is that it's hard to keep the cuff around the neckline in place.  It's not a deal breaker though, because it actually looks really cute when the cuff is up as well.  I'd say that's a win-win!

Tonight I'll be working at the Pinup Girl Boutique for our Ghouls Night Out event.  I haven't decided what I'm going to wear, but you can bet I'll be spending most of today getting ready for it!

xoxo

  6. I don't think you can ever really have too many stripes in your wardrobe anyway. I love this off the shoulder striped top! The hat and fun orange belt really make this look even more Halloween-y and awesome!
